Margaret Rose (Pichon) Robbins

Margaret Rose Robbins, 77, of Crestline, passed away from an extended illness on June 1, 2020, at Millcreek Nursing Home, Galion.

Margaret was born in Fort Wayne, IN on October 8, 1942 to the late Edward J. and Esther M. (Eckart) Pichon. She married Lawrence E. Robbins on May 11, 1963, and he preceded her in death on January 29, 2007.

Margaret graduated from Fort Wayne Central Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Altar Rosary Society, the Knights of Columbus Auxillary, Msg. Leo W. Frye Council #2642, and the Golden Age Club all of Crestline. Margaret enjoyed puzzles, circle finds and reading books.

Margaret is survived by her four sons, Dennis (Li) Robbins, Houston, TX; James Robbins, Crestline; Raymond (Katherine) Robbins, Brunswick; and Richard (Michelle) Robbins, Attica; her grandchildren, Sarah Robbins, Daniel Robbins, Joshua Robbins, Lucy Robbins; four step grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; her two sisters, Frances (John) Blust, Fort Wayne, IN and Julia (John) Perry, Fort Wayne, IN; and close family friend, Bonnie Robbins.

In addition to her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her two brothers, Thomas Pichon and Paul Pichon, and her two sisters, Alice Pichon and Mary Ann Snyder.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 10:30 AM with Father Chris Bohnsack, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Galion.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of the funeral home.
