Marion Isabelle Baker, 95, passed away on January 14, 2021, at her residence in Crestline.
Marion was born in Allegheny County, PA on June 17, 1925 to the late Frank and Maxine (Bowser) McIntyre. She married Robert E. Baker on October 31, 1942, and he preceded her in death on February 18, 1998.
Marion was a woman of strong faith, and she enjoyed her gospel music. She was the definition of a homemaker, always providing for her family and loved ones. Marion was well known around town for her baking, and candy making skills, especially her bread! In her younger years she enjoyed traveling with her husband Robert.
Marion is survived by her son, Robert Baker of Bucyrus; daughter, Sharon (Ernest) Altemus; three grandchildren, Melissa (Ray) Noon of Upper Sandusky, Jennifer (Matthew) Pryor of Chattanooga, TN. and Kevin Altemus of Crestline; sister Phyllis (Richard) Hessom, Leechburg, PA; brother James (SueAnn) McIntyre, Mansfield and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marion was preceded in death by her siblings; Vivian Storbert, Anita Jones, Donna Ruth, Inez McIntyre, Frank McIntyre, Harold McIntyre, and Howard McIntyre.
The family will observe a graveside service at Greenlawn Cemetery on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 12:00pm.
