Mary Katherine (Chambers) Dill

Mary Katherine Dill, 92, of Galion passed away on December 29, 2020 in her home.

Mary was born on May 6, 1928 in Galion to the late Walter and Florence (Bell) Chambers. She was a 1946 Galion High School graduate and would go on to marry Phillip Dill in 1951 and he preceded her in death in February of 2002.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Phillip Dill of Galion; daughter, Linda (Brian Keever) Moyer of Lucas; her five grandchildren, Andrea (Lindsay Simmons) Eckstein, Anastasia (Raymond Riddlebaugh) Lamb, Damion (Jessa) Moyer, Courtney (Andrew) Strassell and Megan Smith; and her ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is preceded in death by her daughter, Trudy Eckstein, son-in-law, Steven Eckstein; her infant granddaughter, Heather Marie; and her sisters, Helen Clabaugh, Audrey Boreman and Irene Chambers.

A graveside service will take place at Fairview Cemetery on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 10:00am.

In accordance with the Governor’s mandate, masks and social distancing should be followed for the graveside service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crawford County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
