Mazie Celia Patrick, 94, formerly of Galion passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 in Jonesboro, Georgia. She was born in Tram, Kentucky on August 14, 1926 to the late Jack and Virgie (Gobil) Damron.
On August 19, 1946 Mazie would marry Edgar Patrick, who proceeded her in death on April 1, 2013.
Mazie enjoyed cooking and worked as a cook at the Galion Community Hospital for many years. When she was not cooking, Mazie tended to her garden at home.
Left to cherish her memories are two daughters; Wyvonne (Roger) Scarbro of McDonough, GA., and Mary Fisk of Marietta, GA.; brother; Carl (Patricia) Damron of Galion; 5 grandsons, 9 great grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mazie was proceeded in death by her son Jack Patrick, four brothers and one sister.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 10:30 to 11:00am at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home; 303 Portland Way North, Galion where funeral services will follow. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery.
In accordance with the Governor’s mandate, masks will be required to enter the funeral home.
