Michael "Buckster" James Tesso, Sr.

Michael “Buckster” James Tesso, Sr., 66, of Crestline passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at his home in Crestline.

Michael was born on May 26, 1954 to the late John and Florence (DeWalt) Tesso. On August 16, 1974 he would marry Barbara (Gray), she preceded him in death in 2013. Michael would marry his second wife Jessie (Hill), she preceded him in death in 2019.

Michael worked as a truck driver for Geauga Plastics for 38 years, and as a delivery driver for Lowes for 15 years before retiring. He was a community member of the VFW Post 2920, Crestline. Michael was a musician at heart, loving to play his guitar and sing karaoke whenever he got the chance. Bragging the best lawn on the block, you could always find him mowing his yard. On Saturdays in the fall you could find him in Tim’s garage cheering on the Buckeyes, and on Sundays you could find him rooting on the Browns. Michael’s children and grandchildren were his greatest blessing in life, and he cherished them dearly.

Left to cherish Michael’s memories are his two sons; Tim (Amy) Tesso of Crestline, and Chris (Miranda Williamson) Tesso of Ashland; step-children; Ashley (Andrew) Littleton of Maryland, and Sean (Darcy) Hill of Columbus; brother; William (Dorothy) Tesso of Crestline; 9 grandchildren; Jordan, Alandra, Dillon, Johnny, Jaelyn, Khloe, Liam, Arabella and AJ; and 1 great-grandson; Stetson.

In addition to his parents, and his two wives, Michael was preceded in death by a son; Michael Tesso, Jr. and two siblings; Doris Blaising and Robert Tesso.

Friends may call on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 311 North Thoman St., Crestline, Ohio with Father Jeff Smith, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Crestline.
