Ralph Castle Jr., 59 of Galion, passed away at his home surrounded by family on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Ralph was born on June 27, 1963, in Ironton, OH to the late Ralph Castle Sr and Wanda (Farmer) Harper. He married Patricia "Patty" Lowe on April 12, 1991, and they spent 31 years of marriage together.
Ralph attended Mansfield City Schools. He later was employed by Candlewood Lake, working on construction projects and was a delivery driver for Dominos. Ralph was a skilled craftsman, and he could fix any repairs around the house. He cherished the time he spent with his family. Making memories with his grandchildren was an important aspect of his life. Ralph loved hosting cookouts and making his famous homemade barbeque sauce. Ralph was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the many hours spent by the water with his grandson, Koltin.
Left to cherish Ralph's memories are his wife, Patty Castle of Galion; his children; Ashley (Jason Chapman) Castle of Galion, Lillian Tomlin of North Carolina, Cody Castle of Galion and James (Christina) Parsley of Galion; his siblings, Teresa Castle of Mansfield, Dotty Carter of Galion, Terri (Earl Miller) Harper of Mansfield, Jerry (Janet Cole) Harper of Mansfield and Kim Robinson of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Koltin Castle, Tapanga (Caiden) Parsley, Brylah (Dustin) Conkel, Loralye Parsley, Taylor Burkhart, Jessie Burkhart and Jacob Burkhart; and his great-grandchildren, Harrison Parsley, Veyda Parsley and Emily Shores and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his step-father, Willard "Cub" Harper, his siblings; Debbie Moore, Kevin Carter, Gary Lee Harper, Brian Castle and Donald Castle; and his grandson, Jerico Parsley.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way N., Galion, OH 44833, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. The service will be immediately following at 2:00pm with Elder Buddy Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
