Richard George Milliron

Richard "Rich" George Milliron, 79, of Crestline, passed away on July 19, 2022, at Avita Ontario Hospital.

Rich was born in Puntneyville, PA on April 2, 1943, to the late George and Lavina (Goodman) Milliron. He married Mary Elizabeth (Horning) on February 28, 1970, and she survives him in Crestline.

Rich graduated from Crestline High School, Class of 1961. He was employed by PPG, Crestline for 53 years. Rich served his country for six years in the Ohio Army National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion Scarborough Post 243, Galion. Rich enjoyed hunting, bowling and playing golf. One of his favorite pass times was cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by his three children: Melissa "Missy" (Randy Brook) Smith, Willard; Theresa A. Milliron, Crestline; Jason (Lisa) Milliron, Galion; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; his two brothers, Larry Milliron, and Kenny Milliron, both of Galion.

Rich was preceded in death by his sister, Charlene Rearick.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with Fr. Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
