Sally Lou (Dielman) Wise

Sally Lou Wise, 85, of Crestline, passed away on March 9, 2022, at Avita Galion Community Hospital, in Galion, Ohio.

'Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.'

Sally was born in Galion on June 14, 1936, to the late Harold and Zella (Wilson) Dielman. She married James E. Wise on February 5, 1956, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2007.

Sally graduated from Crestline High School. She worked at the McDonalds Restaurant in Crestline since it opened in 1987. She was a member of the Calvary United Church of Christ, Crestline, Crestline Garden Club, and Arizona Quilters Club in Mesa, Arizona. She was also a longstanding member of the local Eastern Star Chapter. Sally had a very generous heart. She enjoyed volunteering at local food banks in Mesa, Arizona, making blankets for various hospital groups, and always helped out those in need. Sally was a very talented quilt maker, she loved gifting her quilts to family and friends for special occasions.

Sally is survived by her son Mike Wise; four grandchildren, Jeremy Wise, Shannon (Jason) Blocker, Brandon (Emily) Wise, Christopher Wise, four great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, one great great great-grandchild, and a daughter-in-law, Debbie of Crestline.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sally is preceded in death by her son, D.J. Wise, and her daughter-in-law, Tammy Wise.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
