Theresa "Terri" Lynn (Martin) Castor

Theresa “Terri” Lynn Castor, 69, of Galion, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.  Terri was born on September 3, 1954, to the late Harold and Joyce (Johnson) Martin.

Terri graduated from Galion High School, class of 1972.  She married Michael Castor on December 29, 1975. Terri set the foundation for a successful career as a laborer in the manufacturing industry, contributing her skills to Baja Boats.

Her dedication to her work mirrored her commitment to those closest to her. Terri's eyes would light up whenever she cheered on her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, watched exhilarating Nascar races, or shared her affection with her cat companions. Her talent in knitting and crocheting was not only a hobby but a reflection of her creative spirit.

She is survived by her devoted spouse, Michael Castor, son; Scott (Christa Gast) of Ashland, Sister; Debbie Martin of Burlington, WI, Brothers-In-Law; Rick (Diana) Jones of Galion, Daniel Doty of Crestline, and David (Jodi) Jones of Galion, as well as her aunts, Caren (Larry) Feick of Crestline, Sue Martin of FL, and close cousin, Carla Gerhart, of Sulphur Springs, who supported her throughout life's journey.

Although Terri may no longer walk beside us, her spirit will forever be engraved in our hearts, guiding us with her warmth and grace. May she rest in eternal peace.

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home in Galion, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Service will immediately follow at 11:00am with Pastor Ray LaSalle officiating. Burial will follow at Fulton Cemetery. The family is asking that when attending the services wear your favorite OSU shirt to honor Terri’s love of the Buckeyes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society serving Wyandot County or Friends for Life, Kitten and Cat Adoptions, C\O Jill King.
