Thomas Lee Rister, 50, of Galion passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at his residence after a sudden illness.
Thomas was born in Crestline, Ohio on March 2, 1971 to Crawford and Patty Sue (Clark) Rister, who survive him. He married Jamie Rister on October 29, 2012 and she survives him.
Thomas worked at Domino's Pizza as a driver. He graduated from Crestline High School. Thomas enjoyed being outdoors especially deer hunting. Thomas loved working on cars and making things out of wood. He was fun loving and a very outgoing person. He was a jokester and loved to tease everyone. Thomas was a family man and wanted to be with them as often as time allowed. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Bucyrus.
In addition to his parents and wife; he is survived by his sons, Tommy (Kasey) Rister of Galion, Matt (Erin) Rister of Galion, and Brandon Means of Galion; his grandchildren, Carter Rister, Christian Rister and Arianna "Rosie" Means; his siblings, Teresa (Joe) Marchese of Lewisville, Texas, Randy (Kristy) Rister of Breman, Indiana, Tina (Jon) Ditmars of Bucyrus, and Jessie (Allen) Flannery of Crestline.
Private services will be held by the family.
