Thomas "Tom" Matthew Dix

Thomas “Tom” Matthew Dix, 59, of Mansfield passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.

Tom was born on April 6, 1961 in Shaker Heights, Ohio to John and Nancy Dix. He married Cheryl (Stacklin) Dix on August 26, 1995.

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his children; Bryce Dix and Grace Dix, mother; Nancy (Priver) Dix, Lexington, brothers; John Dix, Jr., Lakewood, and Joel and wife Sherri Dix, New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Tom was preceded in death by his father; John C. Dix, Sr., and his brother; Eric C. Dix.

Tom was a former member of St. Mary of the Snows Catholic Church, Mansfield and is currently a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Mansfield. Tom was employed at Bar-Ray as a Medical Sales Representative. He was a committee member for the Boy Scouts of America Troop #121, a Red Cross disaster relief volunteer and a member of the Mansfield YMCA. Tom was an extraordinary husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and skeet shooting.

A Memorial Mass of Celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 60 S. Mulberry Street, Mansfield with Father Gregory R. Hite, Celebrant.

Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop #121 in care of the funeral home.
