William "Bill" Edward Lamb

William "Bill" Edward Lamb, 85, of Crestline passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at ProMedica Nursing Home in Bucyrus.

Bill was born in Crestline on August 1, 1936 to the late Jennings and Lois (Armstrong) Lam. On October 18, 1957, Bill married Virginia (Crawford) Lamb, and she preceded him in death.

Bill worked for General Motors for 30 years before retirement. But his passion was always ministry, he served as minister of Maranatha Baptist Church in Shelby for many years.

Left to cherish Bill's memories are his son; Michael Lamb of Coronado Island, California; brother; Luther Lamb of Mansfield; granddaughters; Erin Lamb of Long Island, New York, and Erica Lamb of Temecula, California; and 3 great-grandchildren; Jackson James, Emily, and Virginia.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bill was preceded in death by a sister; Norma Roston.

Friends and family may call on Saturday; April 9, 2022 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home; 223 W. Main St. Crestline, Ohio 44827. The funeral service will start immediately at 12:00pm with Pastor Chris Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
